A0
What is an A0 page format?
Size A0 is a copy shop format, which can be printed on a big plotter machine at any printing service locations.
Why make a sewing pattern in copy shop A0 page format?
  1. Saves huge time in cutting and taping the pages together.

  2. Layered PDF- patterns made in older versions of adobe reader are not layered. This A0 copy shop version makes your file layered, meaning each size is on its individual layer. You can choose which size to print, rather than printing all the sizes. Please Note: If pattern has same line types, meaning every size has same line type, then files cannot be converted into a layered one. It would be an A0 file with all sizes on a single layer.

  3. Easy pattern storage :)

Usually, digital sewing patterns comes in 2 basic page sizes:
US Letter- 8.5 x 11 inches (215.9 x 279.4 mm)
A4- 8.27 × 11.69 inches (210 × 297 mm)
Letter and A4 page sizes are for printing patterns on your home printer. Pages are then required to taped together to complete the whole pattern.
Copy shop A0 is an oversize page 33.1 x 46.8 inches (841 x 1189 mm).
Pricing
Pricing is per single Letter/A4 PDF file. This includes all the sizes in the pattern file. The A0 PDF file will be layered with each size on its individual layer.

Please note: Pattern files should be unlocked for this conversion- There should be NO "lock" emoji or "SECURED" in the file title. I can only make the A0 format if the PDF file is unlocked.

To check this, open the file and check if there is a yellow lock on the top left side of the file. The file will also have "SECURED" in the title. This means the file is locked and cannot be used for A0 conversion. Feel free to contact me for more details/questions.
Patterns shared here will be solely used to make its A0 copy shop format. And will not be used for any other purpose.
RAYENA Patterns are available in all the three sizes Letter, A4 and A0. This service is for the patterns you have in other versions.
Proj
What is a projector file?

A projector file for sewing is a new development in PDF patterns that can save you a lot of time and hassle of printing/taping the pages together. They are designed to be used on a projector to display the pattern pieces directly onto your fabric/paper.

As all of my patterns are block templates and used as a starting point to create new patterns. Projector files can be very helpful in pattern modifications. Here is a Facebook group you can join to find tons of helpful information from people using projector for sewing patterns and loving it!

What is included in a projector file:
  1. If the source file is layered, then the projector file will be layered too, so you can choose the size(s).

  2. Thick colored lines for clear projection on light and dark fabrics/paper.

  3. Larger font size for pattern labeling and markings.

  4. 1” and 4CM grid layers used to check sizing before cutting.

  5. Calibration grid (resourced from the Facebook group).

  6. Grainline in the same direction for all pieces for optimized cutting layout (on one single page).

  7. Full size flat pattern pieces with an option to cut on fold.

  8. Free space all around the pattern for easy maneuver to project pattern on your cutting board.

  9. Space between each pattern for easy modification and adding seam/hem allowances.
